Mark 10:13-31 Christian missionary and martyr Jim Elliot wrote in his journal, He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose. God is in the business of pouring out his blessing to and through his covenant community. As our hearts are captured by the truth of the gospel, our perspective regarding what is truly valuable is transformed as idols are stripped away and we receive access to the King as well as understanding of his kingdom.
