Single-mindedness in Our Interactions with Others: Living Out Who We Are

“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me” is one of the most ridiculous — and false — aphorisms of all time. We are instead called to display the righteousness of God in our listening, speaking and controlling anger in our interactions with others.
