Single-mindedness in Temptation: Killing Evil Desire

As a fundamental reflection of His character, God does not — and cannot — tempt anyone to evil. When we are tempted by our own evil desires, He calls us to kill the evil desire to sin with a greater affection, namely the desire to see the fame and glory of God.
