The Gospel of James

At times James speaks to us in the same tone as the Old Testament prophets, calling us back from spiritual adultery and selfish pride. At the same time, he points us back to the God who yearns jealously for his people, calling us to mourn and weep over our sin, and returning to him in humility that he may exalt us. This is the clear presentation of the gospel in James.
