The Transforming Gospel of James

God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
In today’s message from James 4 we hear more on God’s design for His Church, His witnesses.  The lost and dying world needs to hear the Gospel, and see the Gospel in Gospel transforming lives form the Church.  James warns us about slander and presumption, and leads us to repent of self-centered, prideful living and thinking.  It’s so important for the members of Christ’s Church to grow in these areas and point the world to their Savior and King, who loves them and wants to help them learn how to love.
