Jesus on Growth

What truly matters in this life is the kingdom of God. Today’s parables of the mustard seed and the leaven teach us how God’s kingdom will grow, from small to large, across time, from hidden to revealed and involving all kinds of people. The applications for us are to not discount the small things of God, to stick with what he is calling us to do, to lose our lives for the sake of others and to actively seek out those who may be different from us.
