| Here’s just a few announcements for the life of Mercy Church! —Congregational Meeting 11/2/25 On Thursday, October 23 the session met in order to call a congregational meeting on Sunday, November 2 for the purpose of voting on the sale of our current property. This meeting will take place following immediately following worship in the auditorium. Here is the recommendation from the property committee: The Property Committee recommends that Mercy Church accept the offer of $215,000 made by Ty and Dawna Petrice made on 10/23/25 for the sale of the land on Pleasant Hill Road. Having consulted with our realtor and negotiated the highest price the seller was able and willing to accept, we believe that this is a reasonable and profitable opportunity to sell our property and make the asset more immediately and readily available for whatever purpose God has for Mercy Church. —Additional Communication Platform We are testing an additional communication platform for our church utilizing the app Discord. This will be a space where we can stay connected, pray together, share updates, and fellowship with one another throughout the week. Whether it’s a quick prayer request, an encouraging word, or just checking in with your church family, Discord gives us a simple way to keep building community beyond Sunday mornings. To join or get more information, please see John Downs, a deacon, or Bryan Cox to get invited to the server. —Guitar Workshop Terry Schnell would like to offer a short (about 90 minutes), free workshop on acoustic guitar for anyone who already knows basic chords and would like some tips focusing on playing worship music. No commitment. Anyone interested can reach out to him and a date/time will be scheduled. —Songs for Sunday Here are a few things to help you prepare for worship this Sunday: Songs: Come Ye Sinners Rejoice Psalm 3 (Sing Psalms, to the tune of Before The Throne Of God Above) Pass Me Not O Gentle Savior Christ Is Mine Forevermore |
