CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN

God of mercy, give us a well of blessed tears so that we, like Peter, may mourn our sins from the bottom of our hearts. How great and grievous are those sins that burden and entangle us! But do not let us sink down in heaviness and desperation. Keep us from falling under such a heavy burden. Set us up again, and convert us thoroughly. Send the grace of your holy repentance into our heart. Wash away all our sins and negligence. Grant us the light of new graces and gifts. Do not allow to perish those souls for whom you submitted yourself to so many pains and rebukes, and for whom you ultimately suffered the terrible bitter death of the cross. Amen.
