CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN

Eternal God, our judge and redeemer, we confess that we have tried to hide from you, for we have done wrong. In your presence we confess our sinfulness, our shortcomings, and our offenses against you. You alone know how often we have sinned in wandering from your ways, in wasting your gifts, in forgetting your love. Have mercy on us, O Lord, for we are ashamed and sorry for all we have done to displease you. We have lived for ourselves, and apart from you. We have turned from our neighbors, and refused to bear the burdens of others. We have ignored the pain of the world, and passed by the hungry, the poor, and the oppressed. Have mercy on us, O Lord, for we are ashamed and sorry for all we have done to displease you. Forgive our sins and free us from selfishness, that we may choose your will and obey your commandments; through Jesus Christ our Savior, Amen.

SILENT CONFESSION

ASSURANCE OF PARDON

Our fathers, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wondrous works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea. Yet he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make known his mighty power.,”
