Mark 7:31-37

The miracles of Jesus were never a publicity stunt but rather serve to demonstrate his deep compassion for the person in front of him, as well as to reveal his identity as messiah and to offer a foretaste of his coming kingdom. With such a loving savior, may we be emboldened to pray to God for big things and, even when the answer is no, to trust in the great love for us that he demonstrated through the cross of Christ.
