Healthy Church Members

Text: 1 Timothy 6:1-12

Love boat or battleship? The Christian life does not consist of figuratively lounging on a cruise ship, but rather a continual struggle to fight the good fight of faith. The apostle Paul now shifts his focus from church leadership to church members as a whole, as he exhorts all to respect those in authority, to consider the non-negotiables of the faith embodied in the teaching of Jesus Christ, and to pursue true godliness with contentment.
