This meeting is to report to the congregation on developments and recent activities and to seek its advice. This meeting will take place in the auditorium prior to our fellowship meal, with the fellowship meal immediately following the meeting. For the fellowship meal, the church will provide deserts and drinks and we would kindly ask that you bring a dish to share. See you Sunday night! —Men’s Fellowship Event Saturday, October 18 There will be a men’s hike at Cooper’s Rock October 18th, 9am-11am. Meet at the upper parking lot, next to the gift shop. This is a wonderful opportunity to bookend the Lord’s Day in worship, as well as to spend more time in fellowship with the body of Christ. —Session Meeting 10/27/25 Our next session meeting is Monday, October 27 at 6pm. And just as a pastoral note of encouragement I wanted to remind you that the responsibility of this session, in addition to the normal process of shepherding and leading Mercy, is to figure out what went wrong and how we ended up in this particular place as a church. This particular shepherding issue is on every docket for all our session meetings. We are actively working to figure out what happened and how to respond in the most biblical, gracious, and appropriate manner. At this point the Session has not requested any particular information from anyone in the congregation, but if you have something that you would like to share with or ask of the session you can always do so. Please do not hesitate to reach out. —Songs for Sunday Here’s what we’re singing this Sunday if you’d like to familiarize yourself with tunes + lyrics!Morning: All Hail The Power Of Jesus’ Name Psalm 34:1-10 (to the tune of Approach My Soul The Mercy Seat) O My Soul, Arise Who Is This So Weak And Helpless?
