The committee will likely meet 6-8 times per year, and will help the Session manage and enhance our Christian education offerings like Sunday School, Bible Studies, etc. If you would be interested in growing by serving Mercy Church in this capacity, please speak with Bob Niichel or another member of the Session at your earliest convenience. Relatedly, the Session is considering other ways for members to get involved, so if this is not your cup of tea, stay tuned for other opportunities. —Sunday School Announcement Attention all those interested in helping with Children’s Sunday School: There is a general interest meeting on Sunday, August 9th at 9:45 am. Please attend- We need more teachers who are committed to regularly serving as a Sunday School teacher as well as substitute teachers. Note: Any adult serving in children’s ministry must be a church member and have a background check completed. —Nursery Announcement Nursery is paused for the summer but will resume in September. We need more regular volunteers to maintain a safe and fully staffed nursery. If you are interested in providing nursery care, please email Mary Felton (marymfelton@gmail.com) to go ahead and get your background check completed so you are ready to go. Additionally, if you have completed your background check but not yet taken the step to sign up for nursery, September is the time to start! Questions?
