Many thanks to them! –As we reengaging Rock Family Church, they are willing to bend on the 50 year resale clause. –We are acquiring new legal counsel with more experience in commercial real estate –We are pursuing a new appraisal on the whole property that will be completed within 30-45 days of the notification for them to proceed. –Rick has asked for help with mowing/weed eating the property in this time of transition, and we agreed to do so. If you have any inclination to help cut grass or run a string trimmer, just let us know! —Update on the elder candidates The session unanimously voted to present Bob Niichel and Nathan Harlan as candidates for ruling elder at Mercy Church. These men have passed written exams, and they have also passed an oral examination by the temporary session. We will eventually need to call a congregational meeting at which we will formally vote on these two men as candidates, and in the time leading up to that if you have any concerns about these men as potential elders please make that known to me and the session. —Thank You From The Bourdon Family Dear Mercy Church Fam We were overwhelmed with the help you so selflessly provided on our move day.
