Presbyterianism has its roots in Scotland, but right now more than 25% of the FCOS churches are without a pastor, so Mercy’s Session is excited to send the Greens this summer as our missionaries so that Peter can provide pulpit supply to four different churches over seven weeks. If you would like to contribute to the their costs (primarily flights and vehicle rental for 7 weeks), you can put a check in the offering plate made out to Mercy Church with “Peter Green Scotland” in the memo line, or you can donate through the PCA Foundation, making sure to put “Peter Green Scotland” in the “Suggested Use” box. You can either give once or monthly through Dec 31, 2026. If there are extra funds, they will be given as a gift to the Scottish churches the Greens will be serving. —Family Bike Ride We’ll meet at the Tugboat Depot (Star City Park) and leave at 9am. We’ll bike for an hour or so on the rail trail, and then have danishes and donuts back at the playground.
