Announcements – May 23rd

“We must make a great difference between God’s Word and the word of man. A man’s word is a little sound, that flies into the air, and soon vanishes; but the Word of God is greater than heaven and earth, yea, greater that death and hell, for it forms part of the power of God, and endures everlastingly.”
—Martin Luther

—Children’s Ministry Donations
The children’s ministry is accepting donations of gently used items in good condition:
• 3–4 sheets to cover bean bag chairs
• Age-appropriate toys for babies and toddlers
• Hardback books for preschool-aged children
If you have any of these items to donate, please bring them on a Sunday morning.

—Volunteers Needed
We have several ongoing needs for volunteers:
• Communion: Volunteers are needed to bake bread and help with clean-up after communion.
• Hospitality: We are looking for people to bring baked goods and assist with clean-up after services.
If you are interested in serving in either of these areas and would like more information on what is involved, please let the deacons know and we will put you in contact with the correct people!
• Music: We are looking for people to serve as vocal and musical accompaniment for our worship services. This does not need to be a weekly obligation, please contact Terry Schnell if you are interested in learning more about this opportunity.
