Announcements – September 12th

“The posture of a man of God is pivotal for his leadership in Christ’s cause. It is from his knees that the preacher-leader receives the power of God to be conformed to the Son of God, and to lead the people of God into the purposes of God by preaching the word of God.”
—John Currie

—Sunday School Begins This Week!
Church family, we're starting Sunday school back up this week! As as way of organizing the beginning, but also recognizing all of the students and teachers, we're all going to gather in the sanctuary at 9:15. I will call the teachers up front, so that you can put a face to a name, and then the kids will gather into their classes. Once we do this, we'll sing the doxology, pray, and then get sent out to our classes. Not only will the be a way to recognize and orient people, it will be covenant theology with skin and bones. Meaning, we can all see the covenant children that we as a body are called to love and encourage as we assist all parents with the nurturing of their children. Please let the session know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns!
